Preschool Registration

We are getting ready to start registration for next year. I am still working out my schedule so stay tuned. Also leave a comment letting me know if you would like me to add you to my registration send out list. Thanks!

Next Year's Schedule

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 9:00-11:30. This class will only be for students that will be going into kindergarten the next year. There will be 10 - 12 students. We will be adding in the lowercase alphabet and also working on some reading/spelling skills. There will be a bigger focus on math skills as well. The cost for the month will be $105.

Tuesday and Thursday at 12:30-3:00. This class will be mixed with students of both ages. If the child has never attended preschool this is the class for them. I will continue to teach the uppercase letters (and lowercase for the ones moving onto Kindergarten the next year). This class also has a focus on manipulating skills. Lots of cutting, tracing, and hands on activities. They will also learn how to act at school: lining up, sitting in a circle, sharing etc. This class will cost $75 a month.

Where did the summer go??

It is almost time for school to start. I have had a few parents inquire about the start date of preschool. Originally I had planned on starting a week or so after the school district starts but that will not work for me (they are starting very early this year). I have to have my tonsils out on Aug. 9. My doctor said that it could take up to 3 weeks before I feel better. If that is the case that would put us at the beginning of September. So I am planning on starting the Tuesday after Labor Day. Hopefully this works for everyone. And hopefully your little ones don't get too impatient for preschool. I am so excited and ready to start the new year. I can't wait!!

(with a $25 registration fee)

Will follow the Washington County School District Calendar
(start and finish dates may be off).

Little Discovery Preschool is located in the Washington Fields.
